Event Description
Information was received from a manufacturer's representative and a consumer regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins). It was reported that the patient had their stimulator turned off because even at the lowest setting it "forced a smile on the right side" and provided them with painful stimulation. They had headaches and dizziness when they got up from sitting. The patient requested a new mri and the representative planned on meeting with the patient on (b)(6) 2018.The patient also reported that a few weeks ago their battery flipped in the pocket and then when they were leaning in a chair it flipped back.Since then the ins site had been painful. No further complications reported.
