Manufacturer Narrative

The field service representative (fsr) verified the reported issue.During troubleshooting he determined that one of the fuses had blown.He replaced the fuse and dual temperature sensor.The unit operated to the manufacturer's specifications.The suspect parts were returned to the manufacturer for further evaluation.

Event Description

It was reported that the heater cooler was over temperature while in maintain mode.No other details regarding the nature of this event were provided.

Manufacturer Narrative

The reported complaint was confirmed.During laboratory analysis, the product surveillance technician (pst) observed the ground wire of the dual temperature sensor to be pulled out of its connector causing the fuse to blow.If additional information becomes available on this complaint that would alter the facts and/or conclusion, a supplemental report will be filed accordingly.
