Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) via a manufacturer representative regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported that the patient experienced twitching of the abdomen during normal use.It was unknown what environmental/external/patient factors may have led or contributed to the issue.Diagnostics/troubleshooting performed included impedance testing and shutting off the device.It was noted that a replacement occurred on (b)(6) 2018, and the leads were cut and the electrodes remained implanted.The issue was resolved at the time of the report.No further complications were reported/anticipated.

Event Description
Additional information from the manufacture representative (rep) reported the patient had two leads and the battery that were removed and replaced.The cause of the twitching was unknown but resolved.The rep noted the leads were intentionally cut per the physician¿s discretion.There were no further complications that have been reported as a result of this event.
