¿as part of normal complaint follow-up, an evaluation of the event has been initiated by mako surgical. A supplemental report will be submitted when additional information becomes available. ¿.
 
Event Description
This pi is for the robot used in the primary procedure. It was reported that the patient's left hip (mako posterior approach) was revised due to failure of the shell. The shell spun out and broke a screw. No trauma was reported. Patient was revised from a size 52 mm trident shell to a 68 mm ras shell.
