Event Description
It was reported that a balloon burst occurred.An xxl esophageal balloon catheter was selected for an iliac vein venogram procedure.During the procedure, an ice catheter was used for imaging.The xxl balloon burst at nominal pressure.It was thought that it was caught on a stent strut.The procedure was completed with another of the same device.There were no patient complications reported.
