Event Description
|
The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced abdominal wound infection, irrigation/debridement of abdominal wall wound with panniculectomy, infected and necrotic skin, necrosis extended more extensively underneath the surface of the skin and the abscessed tissue was excised.Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery.
