Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) regarding a patient who was receiving dilaudid and bupivacaine at unknown doses and concentrations via an implantable infusion pump for non-malignant pain.It was reported that the patient was in colorado and was skiing at 12,000 ft altitude.The patient was skiing and gave themselves a bolus, and they went numb and had a reaction to the bolus.The patient was carted down the hill and sent to the hospital.A mri came back negative for any issues.The numbness wore off later.No further complications were reported.

Event Description
On (b)(6) 2019, additional information was received from the patient.The patient stated that while they were skiing earlier this year, they "lost all my feeling in my rib cage down cause i think it put out too much medicine".
