Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with a neurostimulator for shoulder pain.It was reported that the patient¿s implantable neurostimulator (ins) was implanted in a pocket made in their buttocks where their left pocket would be.But the ins migrated and wore halfway through their sciatic nerve and permanently damaged their left leg.The patient stated that they had the film and the device that had to be removed and they now had to wear an orthotic leg brace.There were no further complications reported or anticipated.
