A photo was returned for analysis. The photo provided shows the lens in the eye.The photo has an area circled in yellow showing what is interpreted as the foreign material. The area has the appearance of a scratch.Without the actual sample no determination can be confirmed.Based on our observation of the attached photos, the lens appears to have damage on the optic surface. It is difficult to make a final determination without evaluation of the physical sample. It is unknown if the qualified viscoelastic was used. The root cause cannot be determined based on available information. The manufacturer internal reference number is: (b)(4).
