The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of a ventral incisional hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced recurrence, abscess, mesh migration, open wound, and infection.Post-operative patient treatment included drainage of abscess, excision of infected mesh, exploration and debridement of wound, repair of hernia with mesh, component separation, removal of mesh, and wound vac.
