Event Description

The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device. The product was used for therapeutic treatment of an abdominal hernia. It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced pain, multiple recurrences, adhesions, mesh pulled away, inability to lose weight, discomfort in the right lower quadrant, and weakness in the left lower quadrant. Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery. The product had been used with 0113080 sorbafix fixation system x2, lot# huuj0863.
