Event Description
It was reported that the left ventricular (lv) lead was reprogrammed to obtain a more optimal pacing threshold.Following the reprogramming, the patient presented to the emergency room due to positional palpitations, discomfort and "shocks." upon examination, it was determined the patient was experiencing phrenic nerve stimulation.The lv vector was reprogrammed and the pns was resolved.The lv lead remains in use.The patient is a participant in the post approval clinical surveillance product surveillance registry.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
