It was reported that the arctic sun device screen turned black and shut off after one hour in hypothermia mode.
The night nurse changed plugs and restarted the device, but the issue happened again so she changed the device.
The patient continued therapy with the second device.
Per troubleshooting with ms&s, the event log had been erased and showed no alarms.
The device was started in manual mode, and water started pouring from the bottom of the device.
The nurse pressed stop and was advise to send the device to biomed.
Per biomed troubleshooting with technical support on (b)(6) 2019, the biomed observed that the control panel was shutting off on its own while running and the power would need to be cycled to get the panel to turn back on.
