Event Description
The consumer reported that she had not used stimulation in awhile because she was pregnant.The patient stated it had been years since she used the implant.The patient explained that in the middle of the night the stimulation turned on twice on its own at a very high amplitude and was shocking her and pulsing and she kept hearing a buzz.The patient could barely move, her muscles were very stiff.There were no traumas or falls and no electromagnetic interference or activity reported to be related to the issue.The patient was directed to follow-up with the healthcare provider to have the implant checked.The indication for use was non-malignant pain.

Event Description
Additional information was reported that the patient didn't change anything that may have led to the patient's shocking.The patient noted that their ins hasn't worked in over a year.The patient stated the shocking stopped after two minutes then did it again a couple hours later.The patient has had their battery removed and refused to be have a new battery placed.No further information was reported.
