Event Description
Medtronic conducted a post market clinical follow-up (pmcf) survey to seek out potential new risks and assess performance of the nc sprinter ptca balloon catheter survey results from an interventional cardiologist in practice 9 years.In the past 12 months the physician has used nc sprinter 60 times; nc sprinter (other intermediate sizes) were used.The following complications adverse events/effects were encountered using the nc sprinter product over the last 12 months: 1 coronary vessel dissection which was related to the procedure but not directly to the nc sprinter.It was stated that higher pressures than the rate of burst pressure as described in the ifu/operator manual were used during procedures using nc sprinter devices.
