Event Description
A journal article was reviewed that contained information regarding implantable pulmonary artery pressure monitoring devices in patients with palliated congenital heart disease.It was reported that one patient in the study experienced difficulty with calibration and pressure transmissions from home due to interference from their implantable cardiac monitor (icm).The icm was subsequently removed.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
