Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported that during implant, something screwed up with the patient's lungs.It was further clarified that something happened with anesthesia and due to this when the patient sleeps he is choking up massive amounts of clear phlegm.The patient clarified choking up meant he was hacking up phlegm.The first time this happened the phlegm was probably almost the size of a baseball.It was further stated that he slept for 2-3 hours following implant and he woke up with pain in his chest and trouble breathing.He didn't feel right and had an uneasy feeling about breathing.No further complications were reported.

Event Description
Additional information received from a healthcare provider (hcp).It was reported that all of the symptoms were unrelated to the device.The symptoms were likely related to withdrawal symptoms.The symptoms responded well to medical management.No further complications were reported.Mdr decision updated to not reportable.No additional supplemental reports are required unless additional information received indicates reportable event.
