Event Description
It was was reported that froze on wire occurred.The 75% stenosed lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and moderately calcified mid left anterior descending artery.A 2.75mm x 8mm nc emerge balloon catheter.However, during third inflation at 18 atmospheres for 58 seconds, resistance between the device and the guidewire was experienced.The device was removed from the patient together with the guidewire as one unit.The procedure was completed with another of same device.No patient complications nor serious injuries were reported.
