Event Description
The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of a hernia.It was reported that after the implant, the patient experienced sinus tract, infection, and adhesions.Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery and a wound vac.

The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for laparoscopic therapeutic treatment of an incisional hernia.It was reported that after the implant, the patient experienced sinus tract, infection, drainage, mrsa, fibroadipose tissue, fibrosis, chronic inflammation, foreign body giant cell reaction, serosanguinous fluid, necrotizing soft tissue, purulent material, serosal injury, wound dehiscence, open wound, nonviable subcutaneous tissue, and adhesions.Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery, wound irrigated/packed, removal of mesh, admitted to hospital, celiotomy, bilateral component separation, excision of skin, removal of tacks, serosal injury repaired, transferred to sicu, debridement of abdomen, and a wound vac.
