THE HEARTMATE II LVAS IS INTENDED FOR USE BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL, OR FOR TRANSPORTATION OF VENTRICULAR ASSIST DEVICE PATIENTS VIA GROUND AMBULANCE, FIXED-WING AIRCRAFT, OR HELICOPTER.
