About FDA
Number of visits to the FDA Patient Network Website during the month
Dictionary: The FDA Patient Network (network) was created in 2012 to help patients, patient advocates, and their health professionals connect with FDA science and policy staff. Through this network, OEA's Office of Health and Constituent Affairs (OHCA) shares information about FDA with patients and patient advocates, recruits patient advocates to help FDA make decisions, and helps consumers connect with FDA through open public meetings, email, previously recorded webinars, and opportunities to comment on FDA regulations. OHCA monitors the visits to the network and the webinars posted on the network to assess viewer volume and trends and the popularity of webinar topics to help determine what topics to include for future webinars. OHCA monitors the network's subscriber base to assess its growth and change over time.
