To enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then go to step 4.

    If you do have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    1. Click Custom Level.
    2. In the Security Settings – Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
    3. Click OK to close the Security Settings – Internet Zone window.
  4. Click Apply to apply the changes, and then click OK to close the Internet Options window.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

To enable JavaScript in Firefox

  1. In the address bar, type in about:config and press <Enter>.
  2. Select “I’ll be careful, I promise”.
  3. In the search area, type in javascript.enable and press <Enter>.
  4. If the value is “true”, JavaScript is already enabled.
  5. If the value is “false”, double-click on the value and it should change to “true”.
  6. Restart the browser.

To enable JavaScript in Google Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. On the “Settings” page, click the “Show advanced settings” link.
  4. In the “Privacy” section, click Content settings.
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) in the “JavaScript” section.
  6. Click Done.

To enable JavaScript in Safari

  1. Open Safari, click on the Safari menu, and select “Preferences...”.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Select the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox.
  4. Select the Close button.
  5. Close Safari and restart your Mac.
