Lim JH, Kim MS, Hwang YH, Song IB, Park BK, Yun HI
Drug:
Florfenicol
Fish species:
Halibut, bastard
Date:
2010
Sample:
muscle
Ave Weight (gm):
380
Ave Water temp (°C):
19
Water:
Saltwater
Dosage:
20 mg/kg 3d
Route:
PO
Comments:
Salinity at 33 ppt. Florfenicol amine was not detected in tissue. Tissue concentrations of florfenicol were slowly depleted from the liver, muscle and gill tissues and below maximum residue limit at 7d after last dose. Final withdrawl time estimated 7.91d using statistical approach. Tissue concentration of florfenicol: 1d post-dose=3.06 mg/kg, 3d post-dose=1.72 mg/kg, 7d post-dose=0.34 mg/kg. Tissue/plasma ratio: 1d post-dose= 1.17, 3d post-dose= 0.60, 7d post-dose= 0.33.
