Salinity = 20 ppt. Muscular distributions were essentially identical for both dosing routes (IS/PO) and the drug did not accumulate in muscle. There was no mortality in the experimental animals. It was deduced that oxytetracycline distributes in shrimp muscle in an essentially identical manner regardless of route(RM [affinity] =0.828 for IS vs 0.904 for PO).
