[109]Cd. Seawater-35 ppt, weight = dry weight, Residues by 7d= 1.2 nmol/g, % of body accumulation = 40-60% (incr from 1-7d). By section: Ant - residue=1.4 nmol/g, increasing 1-7d, % body accumulation=20-40% increasing 1-7d; Mid - residue=increasing to 0.5 nmol/g by 7d, % body accumulation= <10%; Post - residue = 0.7nmol/g, % body accumulation=20%. 43% of Cd distributed after 4h. Results estimated from graphs. Most of the uptake was by the anterior intestine.
