Water supplemented with 60 mg/L sea salt and 200 uM CaCl2. Dose was fed via accumulation in amphipods. Amphipods were dosed for 16d at 11 ug Cu/L added as 65CuCl2. Amphipod accumulated 7.4 ug 65Cu/g after 16d. Water supplemented with 60 mg/L sea salt and 200 uM CaCl2. Fed copper in MTLP from aphipod measured at 8 ug Cu/g. Assimilation fficiency 8h post-dose=38.1%, 24h post-dose=28.2%, 72h post-dose=37.4%. MTLP intestinal lipid peroxidation in the form of melondialdehyde (MDA)=1.76 nmol MDA/mg protein was significantly greater than the control fish but significantly less than the MRG+exo fish.
