Authors:
Sills JB, Allen JL
Drug:
TFM-(3-Trifluoromethyl-4-nitrophenol)
Fish species:
Trout, rainbow
Date:
1975

Sample:
muscle
Ave Weight (gm):

Ave Water temp (°C):

Water:
Freshwater
Dosage:
1 mg/l 12 hours
Route:
BATH
Comments:
Residues in all 8 species were near limit of detection (0.01 ug/g) within 24 hrs. High pH in water reduces absorption (seen with increased hardness-which also incr pH). Temperature had little effect on residue levels. Hardness= 10-13, pH= 6.4-6.8 - residues at withdrawal time 0 h=2.77, 4 h=1.42, 12 h=0.11, 24 h=0.04.
