Comments:
Pellets. Erythromycin concentration in tissues of the fish fed live Artemia (residue=25 ug/ml) was higher than those fed pellets (0.70 ug/ml). Uptake of bioencapsulated erythromycin from Artemia has a greater uptake than from pellets. Erythromycin still detectable in tissue 21d (0.70 ug/ml) after drug withdrawal, but absent after 35d. t 1/2 difficult to estimate since levels are so low.
