Contents

Preface

INTERSTATE CERTIFIED SHELLFISH SHIPPERS LIST (ICSSL) is published monthly for the information and use by food control officials, seafood industry and other interested persons. The publication is distributed under authorities of the Public Health Service Act and Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, 5001 Campus Drive, College Park, MD 20740-3835.

Introduction

The shippers listed have been certified by regulatory authorities in the United States, Canada, Korea, Mexico and New Zealand under the uniform sanitation requirements of the national shellfish program. Control measures of the states are evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration(FDA). Canadian, Korean, Mexican and New Zealand shippers are included under the terms of the shellfish sanitation agreements between FDA and the governments of these countries.
