Event Description
|
Information was received by a manufacturing representative (rep) regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported that the rep was going to see their patient due to a possible overdischarge.The caller indicated that the patient couldn't charge and they had to turn the ins off because they didn't think it was helping them.After having it off, they realized it was helping.It was over 2 months since the patient had charged.The patient said their left side was getting worse and that¿s when they realized they need the device back on.The caller said this was the second overdischarge they have seen.The first overdischarge was reported.No further complications were reported/anticipated.

Event Description
|
Additional information was received from a manufacturer representative (rep) confirming the ins was over discharged and they had to complete on physician recharge mode, which lead to the ins charging normally.The patient is now seeing power on reset (por) but has been charging.It was reviewed the patient can continue charging, the por will need to be cleared with the tablet and then the ins can be turned on.The rep will be meeting with the patient today.
