According to the reporter, post laparoscopic gastric sleeve, the device had an issue wherein the patient bled post-operative.

Event Description
According to the reporter, post laparoscopic gastric sleeve, the patient bled post-operatively.The morbidly obese patient started experiencing issues while still in the post anesthesia care unit.The surgeon was called back into the surgical suite to evaluate.As a result of the bleeding the patient expired.The patient had a bleed in the mid-abdominal area.At time of surgery there were no issues with the device.
