Manufacturer Narrative
|
The field complaint that the programmer had smoked and won't start was verified.During analysis, the unit was plugged into a working outlet and power on function was performed, but the unit did not power on.Analysis also observed that c19 had been electrically stressed causing excessive internal pressure which resulted in the release of electrolyte vapor. No signs of additional burning or fire were found. The "smoke" experienced in the reported event was the vapor released by the electrolytic capacitor.C19 is no longer functional in its current state causing the power supply to not power on.
