It was reported that the bilateral great saphenous veins (gsvs) were treated.The ifu was not followed.It would be self evident that all the glue was not kept within the target vein.Patient suffered skin irritation or burn post procedure, irritation was present.The skin irritation/bur is near the access point.A vascular technologist posted a picture of an access site with an open wound.Image and dialogue are attached to this report.The technologist was contacted and does not know who the treating physician was.Vascular technologist stated that a wound care physician, debrided the wound and found some residue of venaseal adhesive in the subcutaneous tissue and access site.The physician felt the wound would heal nicely after being debrided.No further patient injury reported.
