Event Description
Patient reported that her generator is coming out of her chest and she had a green scab and now there is a hole there and the site is burning.The patient underwent surgery to have her generator removed and the surgeon confirmed that the patient had an infection.The patient was kept in the hospital to monitor the infection and there was no patient trauma or manipulation that could have contributed to the events.Design history record review for the generator performed.The generator was confirmed to have been sterilized prior to distribution into the field.The device passed all specifications.No additional or relevant information has been received to date.
