It was reported that bd connecta¿ stopcock leaked before use.The following information was provided by the initial reporter, "the customer informs that the connecta stopcock is leaking, this was noticed before use.".

The following fields were updated due to additional information: d.10.Device available for eval?: yes.D.10.Returned to manufacturer on: 1/15/2021.H.6.Investigation: a device history record review was performed for provided lot number 9277439 and the review did not reveal any detected quality issues during the production process that could have contributed to this reported incident.To aid in the investigation of this issue, the physical sample was returned for evaluation by our quality engineer team.Through examination of the sample, a crack was observed.The appearance of cracks typically result when the product has been used together with a lubricant solution or an infusion with a high ph value.These solutions can stress the formulation of the product.If excessive force is used when connecting the product or if the product is used for over twenty-four hours, cracking may occur.H3 other text : see h.10.
