Event Description
It was reported that during use of the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d), there was a suspected infection at the device site.The infection was unconfirmed and no redness or swelling at the device site was noted.The patient was treated with antibiotics.The crt-d remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Event Description
It was further reported that the patient did present with bloody discharge, swelling and warmth around the incision site.The patient also noted pain when raising their arm.The patient was admitted to the hospital for evaluation and discharged with no blood, culture growth.The patient is a participant in a clinical study.
