Event Description
During procedure, physician used venaseal occluding device in the left short saphenous vein (ssv).Following day, venaseal was used to treat the left great saphenous vein (gsv).Two days post initial procedure, venaseal was used to treat the anterior accessory saphenous vein (aasv), lateral to the gsv.Seven days after the first venaseal, patient developed a rash that resolved with steroids.Three months later ((b)(6) 2020), patient developed rash that has been worsening and has not responded to several courses of steroids.Patient has seen dermatologist who did a biopsy which was inconclusive.Patient was prescribed steroids initially, however, months later, the rash returned and steroids are not working.No further injury reported.
