Event Description
It was reported that during the implant procedure the physician was unable to insert the competitor guidewire through the left ventricular (lv) lead.The lead had been in and out of the body and guidewire was put through successfully once or twice prior to the issue so it was suspected by the physician that blood may have dried on the wire and some got stuck inside the lumen of the lead.The lead was then removed and a new lead was successfully implanted.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
