Event Description
Information was received from multiple sources (manufacturer representative, healthcare provider, foreign) regarding a patient who w as implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that the stimloc did not close properly and they re-opened a new stimloc to be used.But the issue occurred with a second stimloc, as well.A third stimloc was used, which did close properly.It was suspected that the stimloc could have been used in a non-optimal way, therefore the problem kept occurring.No troubleshooting was performed.The issue was resolved at the time of the report.
