It was reported that the device stuck in the lesion.A percutaneous coronary intervention was being performed. The target lesion was located in the heavily calcified left anterior descending artery (lad).A 10mmx2.00mm wolverine coronary cutting balloon was selected for use.During the procedure, the balloon was inflated at 12atm, but it got stuck in the proximal diagonal branch.Subsequently, it was tried to retrieve by inflating and deflating the balloon and buddy wire with the second balloon and microcatheter, but no movement was achieved.A snare was used and stripped the balloon away from the blade. The blade was then imbedded against the vessel wall with a stent. The left main to lad was stented to protect the vessel, then a second stent was implanted lad/ diagonal branch. No further complications reported, and patient was stable post procedure.
