|
Medtronic received information that during the implant of 24mm mechanical aortic valve in the intra-annular position, it was explanted and replaced with a 22mm mechanical valve.It was reported that the 24mm valve was too large for the patient's annulus.It was reported this event was caused by a sizing error.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
