Event Description
|
The customer called to report a noise that might be coming from the incubator on the aia-2000 instrument. The tss asked her to open up the hood and perform an all set home operation. The customer stated the noise occurs without any error message when the test cup is being moved into the incubator. The instrument is down.A field service engineer (fse) was dispatched to address the reported event, which resulted in a delayed reporting of patient samples for luteinizing hormone (lhii), follicle stimulating hormone (fsh) and intact parathyroid hormone (ipth). There is no indication of any patient intervention or adverse health consequences due to the delay in reporting of patient results.
