It was reported the patient developed a pyogenic granuloma at the implant site, which was excised (date not reported).At the time of the excision, an infection was noted and subsequently washed out.However, the infection could not be resolved, and due to fluid discharge and return of granulation, the patient was admitted to hospital to be treated with intravenous antibiotics (date not reported).The device was ultimately explanted, on (b)(6) 2021.The patient has not been reimplanted with a new device as of the date of this report.
