Event Description
It was reported that the patient experienced a pocket infection.A drain was placed and the cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) system was removed. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
 
Event Description
It was further reported there was an antibacterial absorbable envelope with the crt-p system.It was also noted the patient had contacted the clinic to inform them the incision was not healing.The patient was admitted and treated with antibiotics.A chest x ray was suspicious of a mild interstitial pulmonary edema with small pleural effusions.A computerized tomography (ct) scan showed a thin rim of fluid surrounding the device.The patient is a participant in a clinical study.

Event Description
It was further reported that the initial incision was an opening from a suture that descended into the pocket.It was noted that blood and wound cultures were obtained and resulted in no growth.
