A field service engineering (fse) was at the customer's site to address reported event.Fse confirmed the complaint by reviewing the analyzer printout and noticed 4004 turntable slip errors had occurred as well.Fse reproduced error by 4002 by hitting sample feed.Fse replaced the turntable home sensor due to intermittent continuity to address the 4002 errors.Fse also found dirt/debris in the turntable gear and turntable drive motor gear.All the dirt/debris was cleaned from the turntable and drive motor gears to address the 4004 errors.Fse also cleaned all cup holders of the turntable, observed normal turntable movement after cleaning, performed quality control run and forty (40) mock test runs without error and results were within acceptable range.No further action required by field service.The aia-360 analyzer is functioning as expected.A 13-month complaint history review and service history review through aware date of event for similar complaints was performed for serial number (b)(4).There were no other similar complaints found during the searched period.The aia-360 operator's manual under chapter 7, section 7.1: list of error messages states the following: [4002] turn table home not found is generated when the home position of the turntable motor cannot be detected.Turn the power off and on again.If this problem reoccurs, contact the service department.[4004] turn table slip is generated when the turntable motor slipped.Turn the power off and on again.If this problem reoccurs, contact the service department.The most probable cause of the reported event is due to faulty turntable home sensor & dirt in turntable gears.
