|
Medtronic received information that during use of a cardioblate gemini probe, the customer reported that after 15 clamps of the electrode and removal of the electrode from the patient, a damaged electrode was found.At the same time, transmurality was normal.There was no patient impact associated with this event.Additional information received: the issue occurred during the middle of the procedure before the customer moved to the other side.The customer stated that the electrode was checked before the procedure and the jaws were clamped to check the release of saline solution.The broken pieces of the electrodes were removed together with the guides.
