Event Description
|
The customer reported the ventilator alarmed vent inop while on patient.The ventilator was on the patient at the time of the issue.Therapy was delayed; however, there was no patient harm.In the biomed office, customer is not able to duplicate complaint but has verified pressure regulation high in error log.The remote service engineer (rse) verified with customer that machine and proximal tubing from gas delivery system (gds) to front panel are correctly connected.Advised customer to visually inspect data acquisition (da) board and connections and perform pressure and flow accuracy checks.Replace da board if needed.The customer replaced the da board and the ventilator has been returned to service.
