|
Medtronic received information that during use of this gemini probe, the customer reported that the front end of the ablation forceps was broken, causing the operation to be delayed.The device was later replaced to complete the procedure.There was no patient impact associated with this event.Additional information received confirms the broken forceps dropped into the patient's body and then was removed.The broken part did not stay on the guidewire.
