Event Description
It was reported that the patient lives in a nursing home with a security screening/sanitizing gate that uses ultraviolet light (to kill covid, etc.) at the front entrance.The patient's room is about 50 yards from the gate.The patient experienced electrical buzzing sensation and ringing in ears and wondered if gate device could cause this.The patient said they thought this because they went to the gate and unplugged it and then went back to their room and the electrical buzzing/ringing in ears went away.Security screening device guidelines was reviewed with patient/consulted technical services regarding the potential effects of ultraviolet light.The patient will stay away from gate.

Event Description
Additional information received from the consumer reported the ¿wi-fi buzzing was severe.¿ the consumer stated the buzzing was so severe they traveled 30 miles away as some if it was from a ¿cell phone booster.¿ the issue was not resolved.
