Manufacturer Narrative
|
The customer-reported fault alarm was confirmed by examining the driver's alarm history which revealed a 0x1e fault code, which indicates mpu regulator 1 too low.The driver passed all functional testing, including a 4- hour observation run.Since the "1e" fault code can record during a battery exchange, a battery exchange test was performed with no alarms. The root cause of the customer-reported fault alarm could not be conclusively determined. The freedom driver performed as intended with no evidence of a device malfunction. This issue will be monitored and trended as part of the customer complaint process.Syncardia has completed its investigation and is closing this file.(b)(4) follow-up report 1.
